WordPress 2.4...No, Its 2.5!

The new version of WordPress was due out the end of this
month, then it was put off until February. And the version
number was 2.4 (we're currently at 2.3.2).

Well, seems there are more features to be added (and a few
old NON security bugs to be fixed) - so the release date
has been pushed back to March. And we'll have 2.5 as the
official version number.

I am looking forward to the new version, and especially the
changes in the administration GUI. How many of you are as
exited as I am?

I am pretty much happy with current version - it does everything I want it to do at the moment. There are few bugs with widgets here and there that I would like to get fixed otherwise it's enough for the sites I use it...

Is anyone else getting a bit fed up with these constant updates ... (I am) ...

In one of my other jobs I look after Oracle db and app server instances which need constant attention and patching ... now WP seems to be going the same way.

I'm still on an oooold version :P I've hacked my wp files so much It'd take me hours to update to the new versions.
