Default How do you add javascript to a Wordpress template?

I've read the guide on the wordpress site but I still don't follow.

Can't you just add the link to the js file in your header as you would a normal site?

Simply open the header.php file at the template managaer and insert the necessary html code which will call the js to run.

That's what I figured.

Turns out I was putting the html code to call the js in slightly the wrong place in the header. I moved it so it was directly before the </head> tag and it started working.

You have to be really accurate with that little blighter.
