Hi there, thought I'd add my site, just incase.

It's new, and not yet been promoted on the web, as we're going for a creeping slow start to get used to things, before what will hopefully be a steady flow of traffic and online purchases.

It's driven by Boss Cart JV, and uses recommended standards to to separate the html and layout (css).

Called Dog Science, originally a small company in Chesterfield, UK, offering dog training and a range of pet accessories, plus Burns Real Food - a holistic complete food for dogs, cats, and rabbits.

done this commerce site and seo completely from scratch, not sure if its upto any winning standards here but it's worth a shot:

site is e-commerce, sells outdoor gear - your basic tents, packs, shoes, boots, sandals, camping accessories and so forth. brands like north face, berghaus, keen - pretty tough getting decent rankings for...

anyway, it probably won't comply with WC3 as a lot of elements have data attributes like rel="blah" when there should be none (html5 will have data-<varname>="blah" instead) but i needed to store data on page to access via js selectors and event handlers.

other than that though, SEO is pretty well organised (urls, tags, titles, nofollows etc) and it seems to have started doing well now on google - site's only had this url structure and SEO for the last 2-3 months and it's been "live" since end of last year.

My site is Home Information Packs | HIP | HIPS | Home Information Pack providers and has been a labour of love. I started the site with basic HTMl knowledge and is written completely in HTML no CSS so dont know if this qualifies. I have gradually added to it over a period of time including a blog to know about 200 pages.

However i have used HTML tidy on every page to make sure it validates. It is a site for my business though really tried to provide alot of relevant information for my visitors rather than just sales pages. My site within its market place is pretty unique in the level of unique content.

The site has recently made some great improvements on SERPS though i really cant take all the credit for this aspect. The guys on this forum have played a huge role in this improvement, so i'll take this chance to thank you. Wont mention you individually (you know who you are) as i know you are a modest bunch.

I'll add Cars for sale Ireland to the competition.

The site is using a nice CMS and it has one of the larges car data bases in Ireland ( the sixth I think ).
