Hi all,

Just registered here after experiencing two days of downtime of my business websites, due to the fire and subsequent explosion at The Planets H1 Datacentre in Houtson Texas!!, and am now looking for some recommendations for UK based hosting companies with multiple domain packages.

I know it was a major disaster in anyone's book, and many people have no doubt suffered a lot more than me, but I've been thinking of moving for a while now, and this had made me start to look. Reading all of the Ranking sites for hosting companies do differ in their recommendations, but in my opinion personal recommendations are worth a lot.

If your looking for reliable, quality and fast servers in the UK I would recommend RackSpace.co.uk

They are good, but I was completely turned off it due to the fact they seemed more interested in securing ym contact details as a lead via their preferred teleselling route, than gaining my custom by giving me what I wanted.

What's all the 'get a quote' crap on rackspace? .... why won't they just give a price?

I'm using bluehost and hostgator. They are reliable, affordable and good customer service.
