One of my goals on some of the static sites I run (not blogs)
is to have them run themselves. I have at least a few that do, but my question to stimulate discussion on this is: How much time have you invested, or "need to" invest in a niche website - NOT a blog - to be able to sit back and enjoy slight/heavy revenue from it, without constantly tweaking and adding to it? |

Content is important.
Content must be updated often to keep its value So there is no other way than to keep working on updating a site. And after all you would anyway need to build your marketing campaign and to watch out for competitors. There is no way of just sitting back and enjoying the revenue... |

The only Autorun type website I can see is an affiliate shop interface...
You set it up, create design - the rest is done by the main company. Your only task will be promotion...
