That can depend on the browser you are using as well I think, but I do know that there is a problem with slowness and the new Facebook that people are moaning about...

nope ,it does not, i use Firefox 3 , it uses less memory compared to Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Facebook is working well in FF2, but when I tried it in IE it loads a little bit
slow. That is why I always used Fire fox more than IE.
