There are so many websites that don't pay for marketing and rely on free marketing resources. If the marketing is done effectively. You will surely get the positive results. I have already said that not everyone can afford the pricey marketing campaigns. For such type of webmasters free marketing activities are best.
If they cant afford to buy advertising, then they shouldnt play big mens games. But since they choose to do exactly that, then perhaps they shouldnt cry when they run into difficulty.

And, please, i beg you. Stop saying pay for marketing.
If it irritates you becos you cant afford it, then thats not my fault - I didnt force you to build a website.

This is the topic - Paid Links are Beneficial OR Not for Your Site we are discussing Paid links , so if its freebie stuff you want, you should seek another thread perhaps....

I doubt all these dodgy free forum tips you seek will make you rich, but its your time your wasting. I dont care as I have the answers.

I think Robdale is just asking you to stop posting the same statements over and over again Highlander.

If you are going to continue then please realise that this is a discussion forum and people have differences of opinion. There's no need to get so emotive. Try to avoid name calling and emotive language and more people will reply to your thread posts. That way you will gain much more from your experience on this forum.

Thanks for your advice, I know you think you mean well, but Im no forum novice, as used to run my own forum, been a member of quite a few big name forums. I havent called anyone by any names yet, and you need to learn to back off a bit and judge who you're engaging with, before handing out advice.

You and others just dont know who your dealing with, I've achieved more out of life than you guys, am probably older (40 years), have a strong background on the web, studied business, business admin, IT, Management and have a wide experience of different industries, so my knowledge is probably superior. Now I studied the web for years, so I know what works and what fails, so Id appreciate some respect - respect is a two-way thing, so if you want it, then you have to give it, and that means knowledge of who you're engaging with on forums, most are kids, just kids, but some are adults who have run businesses for years or who are experts in starting them up. So I know a few things and have knowledge that the others on here will take 20 years to get, so please dont talk down to me.

That's precisely my point. You won't gain respect by name calling.

You know nothing of what any of us have or have not achieved.

Im not getting into this thanks.

I know enough to know that websites are very revealing. Websites tell a lot about how they will do and thats the best form of tell tale sign of success you can get.

I was always taught that if you have something eg: talent, vast knowledge, great skill etc - you keep quiet about it, but if you have nothing then shut up.

    Default There is nothing wrong.

There is nothing wrong to submit your sites in paid directories. But you should first realize the quality of the site. It would be more beneficial if you submit your site in regional directories. Suppose you have a UK site then submit it in UK Regional Web Directories like uk(dot)ezilon(dot)com

After every PR update lots of sites have witnessed their sites PR down due to selling and buying links. Do you want to be one of them?
