Charity is done in a passion that if the right hand donates then left hand should not know about it. And this kind of charity where you are rewarding the commentors and organizing your own contest and giving away $100/- is something indigestible you can give this money direct to the charity then why distributing it.

You forgot to say how charity will benefit from your blog? Are you planning to donate something if you win this contest?

Also it would be nice to explain how you will decide who wins $100...
