I optimized my eCommerce sites for Christmas sale a few months back, now I am beginning to think of optimizing for the January sales, we will be pushing two hot items in the January sale come first of Jan.

What are you be optimizing your site for now that the Christmas season is over (SEO wise any way)

I always prepare some new optimization strategies with a seasonal approach,
but i prepare for them well ahead of time so that you can be ranked and
visible BEFORE the season arrives. Allow for a 3 month window.

For example July would be a great time to begin creating some new
pages for Halloween. I find October would be a great time to begin building
for Christmas promotions. Leave plenty of time for the search engines
to index your pages so you will already be found as the season
approaches.
