Finding Trends

Blogging or social bookmarking about the latest trends in your
niches is very beneficial to the marketability of your websites.
But finding and "reporting" the latest trends is an art within
itself.

I am a member of quite a few webmaster forums, and a daily
reader on many relevant blogs for my niches. So the first ear
I have on a trend will send me off to blog or social network
about it.

What do you all do to find the latest trends in your market?

I use pretty much the same medium you use to find the latest, in addition I also subscribe to a few newsletter withing the industries I try to keep up to. I wish I am quick off the starting block to blog about stuff as they happen..... I get round to blogging stuff many days after I first hear about it, by then, its going stale
