New fresh tactic could be real time searches. You could use your twitter or other social bookmarking websites and use them for getting on top of Google searches and that way receive traffic.

But basically you open Twitter account and post stuff from your website and if keywords are real time search engine friendly it could get listed. But remember that this links will be visible on Google for just few minutes, that's why is called real time search.
