10 basic vBulletin SEO tips

1. Remove powered by vbulletin from the titlet (its fine to do this, but you should not remove the one on the footer, you need to pay vB additional money to do that).
2. Place the stlye into external css file which can be controlled from the backend.
3. Redirect the index.php to the domain domain root (/).
4. Put different information at the forum name and the homepage options (Site name/ URL/ contact details).
5. When building links, do not point all links to the homepage, point some links to important forums and sub forums.
6. Consider buying vBSEO
7. Consider installing tag mod, it give you additional url that points to important section of your site.
8. When you create sub forums, put a link to it from the main forum.
9. Arrange you forum in a logical way, the most importan forums at the top, followed by the less important/popular forums.
10. Choose the search engine friendly archive option setting in vB Settings.
