That is a good idea, may companies actually started forums to support their users. So how are you finding it so far (I mean starting the board) is it useful?

As to why, I think there are many reasons for starting a forum. For me, it's because I don't care much for the idea of building content on other sites without benefit to myself. I have built a few communities, but I'm still too new to the game to have had any success in it yet.

Keeping a forum going? I think the most important thing is for the forum master to continue to make daily additions to the forum, posting as often as possible, and then some. Also, the forum master should post more natural posts, as opposed to offering articles, to get more interactivity like forums should have, as opposed to just having readers like blogs have.

I own 3 forums and I am planning to start a 4th one. So far, I haven't had luck with any of them.
It is so hard to break it nowadays because they are so many similar forums out there.

I think forums are one of the most difficult online ventures, you really really need a huge traffic to make significant money from a forum.

My Personal opinion is Technical forums are used by Technical peoples...Sports forums are used by Sports people ....etc...So We find out which one is suitable for our interest IF we dedicated mind means we go with this way..but If we want some money from our forum means first we find out which field attract by many people all over world then we start a forum with lots of information at Initial stage It's very difficult...Bcoz People are seeking or like only big forums also advertisement and other options are automatically come to big forums...So at Initial stage we try to find out good traffic...Admin and moderators should develop and hard work at initial stage means that forum one day grow as big one..
