I like the template, it is easy to browse. Another Idea is to think about attaching a blog to it and adding some good related posts to get some more search engine visitors and also so forum posters can get to know the owner behind the forum. This increases branding and also adds a bit more uniqueness to forums. Other than that you can draw visitors from other related forums who may be interested as well..

Another bit of advice is to try to work on backlinks to your forum as much as possible.

I hope this all helps.. Keep it up and be controversial in topic titles..

the layour is nice and very cool
try to remove the footer, ot looking good
Add some content to your forum.Its looking empty.Without visitor you wont get much user.

You may hire someone to post new topics everyday. Just make sure your forum is in active stage. If I stop by a forum and find that last post was in 2008, I will close the page immediately. cheer!

First try to concentrate on getting members there through various methods like contests etc. Hire few posters as well.
