Hi Everybody
![]() I'm looking for a free/open source piece of software to manage a simple email list. Anybody have any suggestions? I have used PHPList before, but I think it may be too complicated for what I want it to do.

I don't know if Majordomo can manage the email list you have in mind, its usually bundled with most web servers, one of the down side is that its command based, in the days that I used it it does not have and interface you can login and manipulate stuff.
You may also want to check this two scripts out: http://www.aardvarkmailinglist.net/ http://www.phplist.com/ I hope one of the suggestions is useful to you. Thanks

Rhys, are you planning to use this mass email option with some particular type of website? I am asking because some of the scripts like VB or eSyndicat already have built-in mass email feature...

It is a little project that I'm doing, there's no forum or anything beyond the main script, which I wrote myself (with some help from a friend). So it's kind a standalone.
When I get VB (which I'm planning on for Retro Garden), I may transfer it though.
