Do you ever find yourself having to hack someones PHP or javascript
to make it work for you? What I do is search for a plugin or script that does what I've been wanting to do for a site, and then begin to hack at it to make it personalized. But for some, it may be easier to just continue looking for that "perfect" script. The way I look at it, it's easier sometimes to be effective than to be original. So what do you do...tweak it or search for another? |

if there offering it as a free download eg a wordpress theme of course your gonna have to hack it to pieces to get it perfect.
It its just a line of code - noone owns code so you can do what you like to it! |

I prefer hacking codes. I started this with the indescript, because i didn't know better free web directory script that time and the default package was not good enough, so i started to implement a lot of custom hack. The site was totally reindxed two times as far as i remember and i learned a lot from that.
