Marketing with Facebook.com

So I started a small and I mean small campaign with facebook last week! What I did was I purchased 7500 flyer's that are to be distributed on facebook into users profiles over 3 days. The price was 5 USD for every 2500 flyer's.

I had godaddy stats running live but it will still be hard to judge what the results were as I heavily rely on facebook right now to market anyways. I guess I will look for Unique visitors seeing this will be a good way to estimate what the flyer's produced.

What is this facebook flyer thing? Can you explain a bit better. I've never heard of it.

Its a banner spot on the left hand side of Facebooks page once a member logs in.

I will also be signing up for this.

It works similar to Adwords in that you decide how much each click will cost to a daily max.

Let us know if it was successful.

No it's not a great way to advertise I don't think I got a very good response but it was hard to measure because I own many facbook groups and already get facebook traffic. I don't think it's worth the money just start and spam a facebook group and it's cheaper!!!

Ok so i tried it. I set one up last night. And i got rejected!. This is what i found this morning




They could at least tell me what i did wrong so i can fix my add. I will have to pass on facebook for now.

Nope i didn't. It never said to. Im not even going to bother. I don't think i'd have much luck with facebook. I just wanted to try it for a week or so

Also this afternoon i signed on and they changed it. Now i know what i did wrong.
Below i have also posted what they say is wrong.

But i,m still confused on what i did wrong in my add/

1. Landing pages / Destination URLs
2. Ads that contain a URL or domain in the body must link to that same URL or domain.

• All users must be sent to the same landing page when the ad is clicked.
• Landing pages that generate a pop-up (including "pop-overs" and "pop-unders") when a user enters or leaves the page are not allowed.

  Collection of demographic and usage information from a user's computer without the user's express consent,
  (2)
  Collection or request of usernames or passwords from any user,
  (3)
  Proxying user names or passwords for the purpose of automating logins to the Facebook site,
  (4)
  Containing or distributing any software that (i) "sneaks" onto a user's system and performs activities hidden to the user, (ii) may alter, harm, disable or replace any hardware or software installed on user's computer without express permission from the user, (iii) is bundled as a hidden component of other software whether free or for fee, (iv) automatically downloads without Facebook's express prior approval, (v) presents any download dialog boxes without a user's express action, or (vi) may violate or infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, patent or any other proprietary right
