UK Webmaster World Forums - Monthly Newsletter – April 25, 2007

Welcome to the second issue of UK Webmaster World forums newsletter. It is an excellent way for members who don't visit the forum regularly to keep up with what is happening at UK webmaster world forums and to bring issues regular contributors might have missed to their attention.

FORUM NEWS & HAPPENINGS
Last month, Dino Paškvan (Melkior) joined us as an administrator. Dino was headhunted from another forum where he has been an invaluable member and admin, we welcome him to UK WW and we have already started to notice Dino’s presence at UK WW Forums in the form of very useful contributions he has been making.

BOSS CART
Support forums were merged with UK Webmaster forums, this saves the cost of a vB license and will provide a more efficient support platform for Boss Cart users. Boss Cart V1.6 has now been released.

$2000 PRIZE COMPETITION

INDUSTRY NEWS
Web Directory to watch this month is This Is UK Business. The directory has a page rank of 4, inclusion is free with reciprocal links and premium inclusion cost £10 per year.

PARTING SHOT
Google or rather its official spokes person Matt Cutts at his blogs urges webmasters to report sites selling links. As you can image this did not quite go down well with webmasters whether they sell links or not. Webmasters have been selling and trading links way before Google even started business.

Temi, thank you for the detailed newsletter, I really liked reading it. I agree, this month was really succesful in the light of content improvement. And luckily the board has some newer member with nice reputation bar.

That would be great Temi. I see that more and more people register here and the domain is supposed to be quite popular in the UK, isn't. You wrote that Dino was headhunted from another forum. I'm really curious Which one was that? If you don't mind asking it.

Ahhh,
Dino was headhunter from another forum, its now a webmaster forum, its and Entertainment forum called Ozami
