The average American spends more time using media such as TV and the internet than sleeping, a study has found.

US researchers found that Americans spend nine hours a day watching TV, using the web or talking on a mobile.

apparently the majority of americans do not have passports as they hardly never travel outside of the USA. another useless fact... My brain is full of them :-)

What the report fails to mention is the FACT most Americans are using the Internet and Cell Phones at work, and then come home, have dinner, watch a sporting event, news, etc., put the kids to bed and go to sleep.

It's really nothing unusual.
