Increasing numbers of people in the UK are moving to digital and broadband technology, according to the latest report from media regulator Ofcom.
Almost 30% of households now have broadband suggesting that by 2010 more people will watch television on the net via broadband than on an analogue TV.

I think that is a global sales treand don't you think? You cannot do without buying a few software but you can do without buying a book

It hasn't been this way for long and the only area specifically mentioned was the UK. Some of the stats are a bit hard to find like software sales compared to the movie industry. They were neck and neck a few years back but I'm not sure how they stack up now.
