UK Police force to get hand held PC
Details of a £50m scheme to provide police forces with 10,000 hand-held computers have been unveiled.
Some 27 forces in England and Scotland will benefit from the devices, which Gordon Brown last year said would cut paperwork by 99 minutes per shift. Full story here

LOAD OF CRAP.
iuf every officer was issued with mini cams built in, then there would be no need for them to complete these bloody legnthy forms as the evidence would be on video, and cheaper support staff could to the transcribing while the police ogt on with bloody policing! Oh how simple is THAt mister brown?
