PR Update
Anybody noticed a change in PR or Google backlinks?

I am sure if anyone will notice, you will be the first Roboco
 did you notice PR updates?I have not notices anything but i can see tell tale signs... one of my directories has unusually high submission today, those are the usual kind of stuff that preceeds updates

As far as I know, there is a backlink update going on. Not seen any PR update as yet.
I agree Temi, people start to submit to directories like crazy before the update.

PR5 was what I was expecting this time round, with a PR7 next update but as the virtual lib has dropped to a 7 (internal pages) it will probably be a 6 at next update.
Unless I can get a few 8's in the meantime but I doubt it

Am i right in thinking Google has updated its links again?
My G links on one of my sites have today gone from 177 to 499, i'm thinking this is seperate to the recent PR update as my site went from PR4 to PR5 but this did not include recent backlinks to my site of one PR8 and about 7 PR7's if it did i would have got a PR6 according to my culculations. Google did a links update a few months ago, so why another one so soon AFTER the PR update? Any ideas anybody?

Google update does not seem to follow the previous pattern at the moment. IBL export usually proceed PR, that does not seem to have happened on this occasion.
The site in my signature which I started recently still does not display any Google backlinks but it got PR4 at the recent updates.
