I am reading quite a few post about link exchange etc, etc. What I know that Google pays very negligible value to reciprocal link exchange.

Do you still getting any effect of link exchange?

Does Bing and Yahoo consider reciprocal links effective?

Yes if it is from our site related and high PR directories it considered as quality backlinks.Reciprocal link has low value than one way links.

You will get minimal (if any) SEO benefit for a link exchange. And if you start linking out to too many sites, you risk hurting your own site.

I suggest to link only to websites you like, avoid webmasters that want 3 way exchanges.
Go for quality not quantity.

I think reciprocal links would also be OK for SEO purpose or traffic purpose if only you link to decent pages. Linking to bad neighbors would definitely hurt your own sites.
