Perhaps "webmaster services for rugby clubs" as anchor text would be of more benefit?

What I am thinking is some kind of semantic link. This page is about webmaster stuff the target page is about rugby. Using rugby in the anchor text may not pass on much benefit, using webmaster in the anchor text to a rugby site will not either I guess. Perhaps webmaster and rugby in the anchor text would. Probably makes no sense tired after a busy week.

How would that be of more benefit? I don't provide webmaster services to rugby clubs (well I do but I don't charge, I design and host anything to do with rugby for free).

Not sure what you are trying to say here, so i will PM you

No problem, the written word sometimes loses its emotion so can be misread.

I don't worry about my links in a forum, as they are not really there for link benefit. They are there because they can be I guess.

My rugby forum is fairly respected. is a clip of some of us on the BBC rugby programe scrumV, we were invited on there to take part. The guy asking the question is Graham, I am the bald git next to him. Sadly we ran out of time so I didn't get to ask my question. The programme goes out LIVE on BBC.

We have been invited back on again this Sunday hopefully it will be after a Welsh win Against ireland

I run the forum for fun though
