Default Article Marketing

Article distribution sites, such as PR (Public Relation) ones,
are a good resource to submit articles to. And of course,
those articles will have links back to your sites.

Another great option for article marketing are blogs. Of course,
some blog networks are junk, but you can find a good deal within
a specific niche if you search hard enough.

Article promotion was quite popular way back in 2005, but immediately after the major jagger update on Google ( mid 2005), several websites received duplicate content penalty due to publishing their articles on several different websites. Search Engines are highly discouraging duplicate content posted on several niche websites, in order to score top rankings on search engines. Google goes into an alert mode, if it detects any pre-defined pattern in link building excercise.

Of course, you can publish article after making slight changes on other websites, but you have to ensure that your website content is unique in terms of text.

Article Marketing is one part of SEO and also can be called SEM activities. Link back from unique "C" class IP is very important for ranking and PR, with article marketing we can get unique link back and also link back from services related content. so it will be counted as link back from related content and it may have nice impression for SERP.

Article marketing and unique organic bklog posting is also useful for SERP and Traffic.
Nice thread.

Why bother using a software for article submission? Better to do it manually so that you can monitor the submission and see if it's submitted to the right category of the article.

article marketing is good but there is really no need to submit to hundreds of site (except for potentially useless backlinks)

a few articles at ezinearticles alone can bring in traffic to your site.
