Search Engines are highly discouraging duplicate content posted on several niche websites, in order to score top rankings on search engines. Google goes into an alert mode, if it detects any pre-defined pattern in link building excercise.

Of course, you can publish article after making slight changes on other websites, but you have to ensure that your website content is unique in terms of text.
