semi-functional admin page.

I am having a problem with my admin page. I can view the admin page and navigate around in it, but when I try to enter information into the cart it just stays on the same admin page.

I ran the install correctly. I did all the chmods on the correct files. I ran the make_symlink.php file. I commented out the clear_parse() function. I have read almost every post here. I tried putting data into the type table suggested in the following post http://www.igeneric.co.uk/support/viewtopic.php?t=131. It didn't solve the problem.

My php.ini register globals = ON. PHP is working on there server. My connection to mysql is working. I am not recieving any error in the apache error logs. I am not sure what to try next. Anyone have any suggestions?

FreeBSD 5.2.1
apache-2.0.48
mysql-server-4.1.0_1
php4-cgi-4.3.4_2

I had a similar problem. It turns out that my PHP global switch was turned off.

Try to turn your on and see if it helps.
