Default Does this work on Windows?

I made a previous post but have received no answer. Does this system work on a Windows platform (XP Pro, 2K Pro)?

The symlink does nothing on Windows. Is there an "equivalent" procedure for Windows?

I can access the data to read it from the admin menus but not to edit it! I know the user I have created assigned has all the rights possible on the DB.

Can anyone tell me if it does work on Windows? If it does, what's the trick?

BTW: I tried using the word a$$signed instead of "created" and it was removed! The filters are too broad! Las time I looked "a$$signed" was not a bad word. ($ = s ).

TIA

Default equivalent to symlinks

The equivalent for symlinking is to copy the fiin both locations.

If you run it under Apache on Windows, it might work, but I have't tested like this yet.

By the " fiin both locations" do you mean the "files" to both locations.

Also, I'm not clear on what locations. I look at the symlink.php and they seem to be pretty equivalent.

Thanks again.
