new type form missing

I finally got actual pages to appear from your package. Now when I click "New Type", I get the table definition, but no form to add products into. Every step I've taken during this installation has required debugging. Please help.

I'm running on Mac OS 10.2 (FreeBSD-based) and using the Safari browser to administer the shop.
