Dear All,
We are getting some low level spam in the form of people creating a user account, they contribute the necessary 11 post or more required to add signature to their profile and we never see then again. For this reason, Anyone who has not visited the forum for 3 months and has 40 posts or less may have their account removed.

If you will be away for 3 months or more, let us know so that we can keep your account.

Maybe just as well if you take exception to such a reasonable policy.

Hmmm I am not sure whether I can agree to this, temi. I don't think any forum has such rules implemented.

I know that DP and Ozzu has this account policy, my account at both forum were deleted before for that reason.

Anyway, its the policy here, I don't know why the account of someone who is not active here anymore should be left in the database.

I think it should be something like:

Anyone who has not visited the forum for 3 months with less then 50 posts should be removed.

That's my opinion.

it's a good idea temi, although if you could implement it like GKD said then i dont think anyone could argue

I agree with gkd and riverwire. Should also add this policy to the signature policy post, since it is related.
