Google, long visit this time around

When google visits my forum it usually only hangs around for a day. It's been on my site for the last three days now.

Is there any particular reason it would be around for longer this time around and also would this have a big effect to the server I am using with my host, does anybody know?

it could be more than one bot ?, maybe they all gathered at your site all at once, it seems to happen alot for my Tottenham Forum, i get google and yahoo nearly all day every day, if it bothers you a that much log into google webmaster tools and set your crawl rate to slow, this will cut down on server usage.

There is also the backlink and PR update going on so it may me because of that

I see. It's still there now so I will see if I can set it at a slower rate.....when I get time.

You are rpobably being deep crawled. On my rugby forum currently I have 26 google bots
