You could also start up an Adsense campaign and target UK folks while you're waiting to pick up traffic again.

Check with your host to see if they offer (my old host did) multiple datacenters - and if
so, see if you can get a UK IP address.

Unfortunately the host is located only in the US. I still wasn't getting any luck with the geographic tools though I was a bit impatient. I did read around the geographic location thing and it seems people were experiencing results with it very quickly.

The only way I knew how to solve it was to locate myself back in the UK which I have now done. It's a lot more expensive but worth it if I get back on google UK. Google has not indexed the site since the switch over. It will be interesting to see if and when I come back on the UK scene.

I now have one other issue. I purchased a ssl for my domain name with the old host. Can I transfer this across to my new host or do I have to purchase it again? The prices from the new UK host are high.
