Site appeared in Google within 1 day

I submitted my new site Games Paradise to the Google search engine and my site was showing in Google the following day. That was quick.

I guess Google bots probably found the link on forums and picked it up


Anyone else had their sites added so fast?

Are we talking about site or pages ? Because if we get into pages subject we can tallk quite a lot...

I can only say that when I am talking about blogs. I have seen blogs indexed in very very short time after a link on a forum or blog has been posted.

Are you saying that google spidered and added your entire site in a day of it going live? THAT is extremely rare. normally google wil hit the site a few times, adding the homepage before adding inner pages. There is normally a delay of a day or two minimum from first spider activity to any sort of inner pages being added to the index.

You mention 'found the link in a foprum' though so are you saying that you had links in place previously? if so what activity do your server logs show with regard Googlebot?

Ok, that was what threw me, the question asked of you was, are we talking pages or sites, and you said sites

Nice to get your homepage listed so quick - I think a week or two's probably more normal, yuo were probably just lucky that your forum link got crawled immediately.
