    Hi

I started to use google analytics recently and it's great. Gives really good information on a site or sites traffic

Google analytics is a great free tool.

You are getting detailed reports about traffic sources, content, visitors...

Some features much more advanced than a regular statistics from my hosts...
Advanced CMS software with directory, blog, classifieds and portal features

I use three analytic services one being Google Analytics which is great along with Sitemeter & W3Counter which is out right best.

Along with that i use whos.amung.us for real time tracking. All are free to use services.

Yes, i too use Google Analytics on my site/forum.
Gives some impressive tracking data and reports.

Along with Analytics, I also use Awstats and a vBulletin mod by 'Paul M' (admin of vbulletin.org) to track the forum traffic.

I do check it daily, but it's inconsistent with my Awstats as far as pageviews and unique visitors.

Because Google Analytics can't track visits of users who have disabled JavaScript in their browsers.
Whereas Awstats can track those visitors too.
