Google is really cool, helps in all the things.
Hi,
Recently I visited a forum that has a discussion that google has started counting no follow links, most of the people were confirming it.
But, there is no official claim about it.
I would like to know is that true?
Is Google really counting no follow links. I would like to get or share your opinion about that.
If anybody knew about this, then please share the link with us.

I don't know if anyone can 'know' this, but I'm sure lots have their opinions.
I don't think they do follow them, at least they don't pass any PR or weight for the anchor text.
If google started counting them what is the purpose of do follow links?
I'm not pretty sure with that one.![]()
yes,.... i think as long as the link is posted to a quality relevant site SE esp Google will crawl it,![]()
Yes, Google count no-follow links. I have seen no-follow links appear in my backlink list in Google Webmaster tools.
But if you look in Google Webmaster Tools | Links | Pages with external links you will see backlinks that were nofollow.
The link:sitename command only shows tiny proportion of the total number of links Google has found.
