Google Sitemap Server is down

Hi Guys,

I just realised that Google Webmasters Sitemap server is down ( i'm from London).

Anyone experiencing the same?

One more thing, I've submitted a site about 2 weeks ago, none of its page is indexed yet.

Is there any approx timeline for that?
