Google sites and link juice

I read somewhere that links from Google do not pass any link juice. I wonder if this will also be true of Google site - http://sites.google.com/?

Such sites/pages are just like any other sits so why should it pass link juice to you? I create this sorry looking page with Google apps, I expected no juice from Google and got non.

Hmm, I`m still not totally convinced.

As I mentioned in another thread, if a site appears on certain pages of theirs, and a backlink check is done, and Google shows up as one being linked from at whatever PR, then how can that not `pass juice?`

Google is not black and white. Backlinks from phpbb.com show up in a backlink check but we know with ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CERTAINTY that google stopped the site passing ANY link benefit.

Like I said, it is not black and white any more
