I would like to add that by optimising your landing pages you could also reduce the cost per click - escpecially where Google is concerned.

It is also possible to reduce cost per click to your website by optimsing you ads campaign.

The two above should go work together when running a Google adwords campaign to bring traffic to your website, especailly if you are seriously considering promoting and earning revenue from someone elses products and services.
