How long does it take to even get a confirmation e-mail from google?

I only applied late last night but was expecting at least a confirmation that my application has been received.

I don't quite remember if I got a confirmation either but I know it usually take a week or more as a person actually visit your site to see if its the type of site they want to participate in Adsense. Give it a few days.

Oh ya, I'm in no particular rush, I was just curious.

Yeah, it normally takes several days at least as your site has to be checked for suitability.

I remember reading that and wonder, is it done by bots or by actuall people? The reason I'm asking is there were bots crawling the site last night.
