Reputation or Cash

Hi

What is your aim when you design websites. Is it gaining the reputation first, making cash or both.

Some would say they would like to gain reputation of their site so everyone knows it when they see it.

I know most have a long term aim of making money but what about when starting off? Do you want to make money straight away or gain a reputation?

For me its both (Reputation as well as making cash).

For me reputation first, after you got the reputation cash will just
come like a flow of water.. of course it will still depend on your site
and on how you optimize it

Reputation is #1. Sometimes you have to sacrifice and take less money or do some work for free but in the end it will pay off.

I was working with some new scripts and after I made few custom designs for very low price word got out and people started looking for me. Even though they were ready to pay very good money I just physically could not handle all the demand...

So... build yourself a name and business will come...

I have loads of websites, and I am not sure what you mean by 'reputation'. I ensure the site ranks for all the keywords I am targeting, so I am not sure beyond that what reputation there is
