Default Microsoft offer £23 billion to buy Yahoo

Microsoft today offer to buy Yahoo for $23 billion ($44 Billion dollars). MS offer values Yahoo slighly more than its worth using its current share price to value it.

What do you think, do you think its a good idea for Microsoft to buy Yahoo to create a credible challenger to Google dominace?

It will take MS a long time to challenge Google into the ground. Though they did a good job on Netscape. Either way, the web will remain the web.
