First phase of UK webmaster world upgrade which is replacing phpBB with VBulettin is now completed, the next phase is to find a nice unique skin for VB.
After the cosmetic changes come the serious business of finding unique contents that will really transform the forum from being just a talking shop to a useful resource.

i agree with eric that is a nice looking skin, www.extremepixels.com some good skins there for vb, please let me know if you decide to buy from there

what happened to some of the catergories?

edit>> nvm I see, temi, can I still get mod positions, like in the web parts, as the flash cat. use to be one of my mod areas? Thanks

Gents... I respect your opinions, but I think that phpbb hosting was... sleeker and easier to navigate. You don't have to change .... just... that I think phpbb was cooler

Of course you will still be a mode in a much bigger category: Web Design. The ideal is to have an easy to navigate forums, at present we have way too many forum with almost identical topics

Win8282,
phpBB is a lot of work to administer, its also slower and more difficult to update that VB.

I agree with you that phpBB has lots of advantages particularly the fact that its free but you need lots of time to search the internet to find this mod or that mode, I don't have that time hence VB is much more appealing to me.
