I was looking at the program and ive found that photoshop have more effects and more tools but some say that the work on paint shop pro is of a better quailty.

    Default Hello

I am usin Photoshop from a long time now and I am very happy with this soft. I have discovered GIMP, this is an Open Source graphic soft exactly like Photoshop. It's Open Source and there is a version for Linux and another for Windows.

im pretty sure paint shop pro is used because its cheaper, and not superior. currently it seems photoshops biggest turn off is its price, and nots its performance. either you want to pay the photoshop price for all its bells and whistles, or get something similar to photoshop for less or even free. personally id rather use photoshop, but thats just me, but i'm not going to knock someone for saving a few bucks and using a different program.

i find that photoshop has more extensions (e.g. brushes) than any other plus most tutorials are on the software photoshop

the first image editing software i ever used was PSP, some young version.

It's pretty good but no match for Photoshop. I think Photoshop is the image editing standard now.
Gimp is pretty cool but doesn't have that many options as photoshop.

It doesn't really matter what software you use, your talent and dedication is important

    cheers

I love photoshop and choose it simply because it's the best you can get. It's also the industry standard software for print media related businesses for a reason.

I have some 00ber PS graphix I should upload here sometime for a laf.
