Well, in my eyes, social promotion means using a bot to spam everyone. I doubt a bot would run very well on a mobile![]()
I have a twitter account (Twitter / seomartin) that I have not really
begun to use yet. In their settings, they have an "update your
profile" via mobile device" option. Here's a bit from it:
I was wondering how many of you use social networking for promotionAbout using Twitter on your phone
Twitter really shines when you're away from your computer.
By hooking up your mobile phone, you can receive updates from those you're following (or just some people) when you're
waiting in boring lines. And you can send updates, like "OMG, there's a monkey walking down the street!"—which, lets face
it, you're unlikely to see while you're indoors.
this way - via a mobile device?

Hmmm...I disagree with logylaps. I used my twitter to promote one of my new products to a friend. If you can genuinely be helpful, then why shouldn't you?
I have not quite got the hang of twitter, basically, all you seem to be able to input is what you are doing now with only a few wordsor is ther more to it that I do not seem to have got yet?

Same with me Temi, I even used the cell phone option on Twitter, to post "what I am
doing now"... but not much else I've done with it...
I also disagree with you logylaps as far as:
Spamming via a bot (or even hand-spamming) is NOT social promotion - that'ssocial promotion means using a bot to spam everyone
simply unprofessional.
