Hi
Is it against Digg rules to ask for Diggs publicly on forums?
Thanks
never read the TOS. We are trying to be effective, not to spend time reading the same crap over and over again.

Thanks Dks
We spend time reading about webmasters posting about submissions to directories over and over again, so what's wrong with Diggs or Digg exchanges?
I see your point![]()
If you want to finish a job I guess you care less about what others say. Sometime is better to go near to the limit, no risks no win...
I always take advice from people like you and other webmasters before making a new move. It's the right way to go
It's just that I have seen webmasters posting publicly asking for Digg exchanges. I will see if I can have a read of Diggs TOS and see what I can find.
The whole purpose of digg is to bring best resources to the front page. Asking for exchange is a manipulation and against TOS.
Why would you vote for the site if you don't like it?
You may have seen that most of the time people using tyniurl links to protect identity from digg spiders. It is fine to post link to your website with digg button on it but never post link directly to digg submission page.
The best way to do this kind of exchanges is to build "friends" list on digg and when you submit new article just send them all shout.

Iv know people who have posted links to digg & there website has been banned from digg, I suggest if doing it you ask the forum owners to make a private forum for this type of exchange or another good alternative which seems to work is not actually posting live links.
This thing with private forum is a nice idea. The main reason is that some of the things members discuss should not be available to spiders or any users that is not checked. I have had a chat with a friend who also works in SEO and he had a nice idea about having a section of the forum protected, like the staff room is now. We all know that we do not like to share ALL of our secrets and if by any chance, we do, we still want our business protected.
Yup i posted a digg 3 or 4 months back and got banned DOH !! lucky my friend doesnt use his account anymore
Best tip if you are going to do it, don't post the url and do it all through PM
