I use Awstats.

I use stats from my host and not sure which platform it is. It gives me much more details than Google analytics

Google Analytics is very nice if you use AdWords, its gives you detailed reports that can help you see how well you ad campaign is doing

I always see Awstats in my cPanel option but never used it, somehow I am stuck on Webalizer, its the first graphical stats software I used and I have never tried anything else since

I always use awstats it seems to have a lot more depth and information than webalizer.

What is the hittail service? I have never heard of it, is it part of Google Analytics or different stats application?

Temi, this is a different service. You need to insert a small javascript code to the site you want to analyze after registering here.
