Cool Proven 3 Methods To Get A DMOZ Listing

    Hi guys,

Just wanna start this thread to get fresh opinions about DMOZ, ODP. As we all have already knew, DMOZ listing has always been a target for webmasters due to its PR 8 and free listing.

However, for those who have tried submitting, 90% would realize that it is not the submission that is hard but the NO-Information & Elitist approach by DMOZ editors that makes DMOZ submission process so frustrating

Hence I would like to share this 3 PROVEN methods for anyone to acquire a listing in DMOZ directory

    (1) Buy an expired or dead domain. There are so many dead links from dead domain listing that exist in DMOZ directories. Due to the extremely busy DMOZ editors, they have no time to update their own directory. So just go surfing into Websites Selling Domains and search for an expired domain with a DMOZ listing. Yep, that simple - buydomains.com

    (2) Subscribe to DMOZ submission services. There are a few companies out there providing this service. You may like to try one I recently subscribe to get my DMOZ listing - Guaranteed DMOZ submission listing service within 21 days - MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - searchmarketingsales.com

    (3) Compensation bargain with DMOZ editors. Just go to DMOZ editors page and email to them. Inquire about something and keep in contact. Once the rapport is there, surface your proposal. Its time consuming but its workable.

Hope this will be a good start for DMOZ discussions

    Cheers

Personally I would just abandon the idea and get links elsewhere. DMOZ is not all that any more.

I never said it was not that relevant I said it was 'not all that'. as in not so important.

Dmoz is NOT the power it once was, the effort to reward just simply is not worth it. It is possible to get the same link benefit elsewhere for a LOT less heartache.

I see what you mean, but people still see DMOZ at The Directory. What I like most about it is the fact that an awful lots of other directories (including google) also use it giving you lots of free listing free of charge should you get into DMOZ

Yeah i still like Dmoz too, the fact that temi said about having loads of other sites using Dmoz's database is a massive plus, alot of them sites now have good PR too.

Re Dmoz, Submit properly, submit once, and forget about it.
