Hi

I am currently working on a new Web Directory

I would like to place around 10 or more featured permanent listings on the homepage, right hand side (sidewide) and then start to promote the directory.

How much do you think I should charge for a featured link (permanent listing - site wide)?

You need to look at comparable directories to decide you pricing, when you arrives at a price, let me know, I will buy a link or two from you

Not a good idea to sell permenant links from the homepage. It may be an indication that you not serious about the directory.

Shuuuuu, don't tell him that till he has sold me a few links

Maldives is righ, a directory or site that sells permanent link cannot grow, once all the links are sold, where will future income to keep promoting the directory come from?

My idea was not to sell featured links in the future. I would like to sell as many featured links that will fit on the homepage and that is it. I will then promote the directory and once it receives a high PR, my plan is to sell a regular link for 2 dollars.
