Laptop vs. Desktop: Which Is Right for You?

I only have a desktop, maybe in some years i will buy a nootebook.

Desktop are more powerful, I guess I used notebook because I travel a lot and in the past when I used to travel with note book and use desktop in the office and another desktop at home, I always mix data up. When I get to my office, I discover that a file I need is on my home desktop computer and when I travel with my laptop i find out that some important files I need are on my two other computers so I consolidated on laptop and just have one single desktop computer as a back up should my laptop have a problem.

I have had exactly the same problem. To overcome this I purchase d a Network Storage box for my home network, so I can access the storage box from any machine. But still forget to save a copy on the storage box sometimes. I try to stick with one machine if I can.

Use both but prefer to work a lot on desktop

I use both. But, I use desktop max. time.

I tend to use the laptop as this is always with me. But for long and involved work its always the desktop.
