front page help

A little while Temi helped me out by giving me a few tips on my sex toys front page...

I added the following according to recommendations...

A header with a logo.
Alt text for the images.
A site map - I decided to make one that displays on the footer of every page.
Sex Toys, Brutal Dildos and Kinky Lingerie at A2Z Sex Shop

My problem is this...
Since around the time i added these things, just after the pr update my keyword rankings have plummeted.

Example. for keyword "" homepage was top 30 in google. But now its ranked around 350 but not my homepage instead the links page: A2Z Sex Shop Link exchange - Link With us . This frustrated me that much i felt like complaining to google.

For key word "" my site isn't even listed i even went through all 10 pages of results including ommited results. Yet there are pr3 sites listed near top.

All this makes me feel like quitting as i feel i am putting hours in everyday for nothing. I have a baby on the way within 4 months and i was hoping this would generate a little extra money to help along, but its not looking that way.

I know this is not your problem but if you can see anything obvious i need to do to my homepage that will drastically help i would appreciate it a lot.

I also know know its not best policy to post about these kind of details but i've been told more than once to post my problems.

One quick thing I can see is that you seem to focus solely on your homepage at present, how about links to your sites, has that increased or decreased since last update?
What about the source of links? are they from the source Google was supposed to have crack down on in the last few weeks? You need to extend your trouble shooting beyond factor on your website itself to external sources such as links pointing to your site as well.

Thats what i thought you meant. I do have a few but only a few.... I feel something went wrong in my page. I made the sitemap sitewide thought this would have helped. Did i make it spammy? I will work on it later going out for a meal...

Your sitemap is killing your relevance. Sex toys sites need to be totally focussed.

I can't really give you too much advice as we have a store in the top 5 for the phrase sex toys
